GAS EXPLODES IN AJARA-VETHO, BADAGRY, SEVERAL PEOPLE FEARED DEAD

Tragedy struck in Ajara Vetho, Monday 15 january as a gas explosion has left many residents and commuters dead.

Residents say gas cylinders from a retail gas store exploded into nearby homes, streets and the adjourning market killing some residents, Okada riders and passengers.

The incident came up about 11am in the morning and took not less than 20minutes before the emergency responders arrive the scene.

As at the time of filling this report, the number of casualties is yet to be ascertained as emergency responders have arrived the scene.
